The location offered a perfect blend of privacy and immersion in nature, with stunning views, serene bird song, and even horses nearby. the accommodations were comfortable, with cozy beds, well-equipped kitchen, and a lovely bathroom. We were so content that we wished we could have extended our stay even longer. the hosts were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond by picking up our groceries and even running to the supermarket to restock when we needed supplies. the highlight was definitely the spacious house and relaxing hot tub, making for a truly enjoyable experience. On clear nights, we were even treated to the magical sight of the Northern Lights from our porch.
Nothing not to love! 😊

The cabin was in a serene countryside setting, perfect for a romantic escape. We loved the fully equipped kitchen and the cozy living room with stunning views.
The lack of cleanliness was a major disappointment. the shower didn't work properly and the cottage needed some serious maintenance.

We got great value for our money with a spacious cabin that comfortably fit 4 adults, complete with a fully equipped kitchen and a cozy living area. The location was perfect, right on the edge of the city with stunning views and peace and quiet. The staff treated us well and made us feel welcome.
The only thing that could have made breakfast better would be a wider selection of items to choose from.

Pros of Our Stay at Vacation Home Fagravik: The view was mind-blowing, the cottage size was super comfortable, and the beds were jaw-droppingly cozy. The safe environment for children was a huge plus, and the location was perfect for exploring nearby attractions. The price was very good, and we appreciated being able to use the laundry facilities. Despite a storm, the host went above and beyond by offering us an extra night at no cost. The friendly host even helped us with grocery shopping when we ran out of supplies. The house and hot tub were great, offering plenty of space, and the surroundings were beautiful for a few days of relaxation. The cabin had nearly everything we needed, and the location was conveniently close to Akureyri but also surrounded by nature.

I chose Vacation Home Fagravik specifically to visit the Centre for Visual Arts in Akureyri, and I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary wireless Internet access. It allowed me to research and plan my visit to the art center conveniently. The fact that visitors can also catch a fish for dinner was a unique and enjoyable feature.
The place looks cozy in the photos, but in reality, everything is quite cheap. The wood is filled with plastic, and the windows let in a draft.

I stayed at Fagravic for 4 nights and it was perfect for our wedding party. The cabins had all the amenities we needed, including a private hot tub. The location was beautiful, with incredible views and the chance to see the northern lights. The cabins were modern, clean, and just a few minutes' drive from downtown Akureyri. The price was good too!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.

I had the pleasure of enjoying the beautiful surroundings and engaging in various activities like skiing and horse riding. The accommodations were cozy and equipped with a barbecue and hot tub, making me feel right at home.
The experience was so terrible that I can't even come up with a sarcastic sentence to describe it.

The Vacation Home Fagravik provided us with a cozy and beautifully decorated cottage. We were pleased with the cleanliness and attention to detail. The hot tub offered stunning views and was a perfect place to relax. The owners were incredibly responsive and accommodating, allowing us to bring our beloved dog along. a wonderful and peaceful stay.
One drawback we experienced was the lack of wifi, which was misrepresented in the listing. However, this did not greatly impact our overall enjoyment of the cottage.
